Ken’s Chimney Sweep & Repair

Ken and his workers were awesome! They fixed the problem that I initially called him out for, and then did additional work on the walls of my chimney and then some. Totally professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. Is responsive to my calls and questions. Would highly recommend!

I called Ken for a chimney inspection and cleaning. He answered my MANY questions with the patience of a saint and told me what work I needed to have done right away and what could (safely) wait until summer. His rates were fair and significantly less than I was quoted by another company. I can’t speak highly enough about Ken and the work he performed on my fireplace/chimney.

Contacted Ken after another big name company did a poor repair, and would not even attempt to fix it correctly. Ken answered when I called, and was able to come do the estimate and write a quote in a timely manner and get me on the schedule for repairs. Kept in touch when the weather delayed the job a week. Arrived on time, very professional and took the time to show me pictures and explain what was done. 10/10. I don’t even write reviews but his service and professionalism is so hard to find anymore. Will definitely recommend Ken’s Chimney Sweep to anyone I know that needs this type of work.

I called Ken and left a message to get an estimate on a chimney repair. He returned my call within an hour and came out within the week to give me an estimate. He took pictures of the top of my chimney and showed them to me explaining that my chase pan was very rusty and that my cap needed to be replaced. He gave me a very reasonable estimate to complete the job. He did a great job and showed me pictures of the finished job. I would recommend him highly to anyone and will call him for any future repairs.

We recently bought a house and were unsure about the condition of the fireplace – so we called Ken. Even in peak season, we were able to schedule something pretty quickly. Ken had an ’emergency call’ the day of my appointment and contacted me to check-in about coming a bit later – no problem – then he kept me updated about his arrival. When he got there, he (and Wayne) were quick and helpful. Ken told me all along what he’d recommend for repairs (tuckpointing, cleaning/sealing the exterior brick, re-doming the top), timeline, & cost estimates. And my favorite thing he said was, “I’ll never avoid telling a customer how to save money by doing work themselves.” I prefer to work with businesses that have that kind of transparency. 5 of 5 – Would recommend.
